Mueller’s community garden is a program of the Mueller Community Associations and is located on the grounds of the John Gaines Park owned by Mueller Master Community Association. The vision for the community garden is an organics-only garden, open to both Mueller Residents and Mueller neighbors from throughout the city building community through gardening.
Mueller's community garden is located in John Gaines Park, on Vaughn between Sorin and Moreno, featuring 132 plots sized four (4) feet by (8) feet. Sixteen of those plots are accessible raised beds. The community garden includes compost and mulch areas; a tool shed and shaded work area.
PLOT HOLDERS
Prior to gardening, the Association must have a received a completed Use Agreement and Release, with fees for the appropriate season.
Plot Fees:
Fees: $30 per season: Fall/Winter (August 2019 - January 2020) or Spring/Summer (February 2020 - July 2020)
$50 for two seasons: Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer (August 2019 - July 2020)
Seasons and Payments Due: The spring season for 2019 ends on July 31. The fall season runs from August 1 to January 31, 2020. Payment for this season is due on or before August 9, 2019.
Statements will not be sent. Plot holders are required to pay prior to the deadline. Fees not paid prior to the due date may result in the loss of membership.
Payments can be made in person or via mail at Mueller Central (4550 Mueller Blvd, Austin, TX 78723.) Payments should be made payable via check or money order to Mueller Community Association, noting it is for a Community Garden Plot and including the plot number. Cash and credit cards will not be accepted.
